No hot tub without a sauna – the unique anniversary package includes a special hot tub and a FinVision -sauna
Kirami’s high-quality products have offered our customers everyday luxury already for 20 years. To celebrate the two full decades, Kirami is now increasing the production of saunas. But the hot tubs will not be forgotten, either, because what could be a better combination than a genuine sauna made in Finland and a hot tub in the same range? In honour of the anniversary, the customers can order a unique FinVision -sauna and a matching hot tub as a package deal.
“Kirami’s philosophy has always included the complete bathing experience, and in honour of our 20th anniversary, we want to offer our customers an even more comprehensive package: a Kirami FinVision -sauna and a special hot tub with an exterior surface that matches the sauna perfectly,” says Konsta Katajisto, who is responsible for Kirami’s sauna sales.
Sauna and a hot tub, already known to be best friends, are a natural package deal.
“Going to the sauna in itself is an experience that is crowned by the hot tub. For many people, these things together are a wonderful way to relax and spend your time. People quiet down in the sauna and enjoy the hissing of the heater, while the sounds of nature help you relax in the hot tub. You can’t find a more Finnish way to spend time than this,” Konsta says.
“Honouring the traditions, we built the Kirami FinVision -sauna that has everything that makes the sauna magical. As its name indicates, the FinVision -sauna offers a new vision for the sauna experience.”
Finnish work through and through
The Finnish sauna is so unique that it has even been inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
“The Finnish sauna is gaining more and more recognition around the world. The inclusion in UNESCO’s list promotes awareness of the Finnish sauna culture. We believe that this will make the sauna more widely known than ever in different parts of the globe,” says Taina Hujo-Oittinen, who is responsible for Kirami’s German exports.
Kirami’s saunas have been awarded the Finnish Key Flag Symbol showing that they have been manufactured in Finland.
“Our saunas are designed and manufactured from start to finish in Finland, in Kirami’s own factory. We favour Finnish materials, and we aim to purchase the raw materials from Finnish suppliers.”
“The Kirami FinVision -sauna is one of the few saunas that are delivered to the customer already assembled and surface-treated. Our sauna is very well insulated, which guarantees energy-efficient heating. The sauna has a rustic, modern facade, which makes it suitable for many different kinds of environments, all the way from cliffs on the shore to a yard in the city,” Taina says.
Saunas have potential
The production of saunas has started out well.
“We started out with one sauna model, and we are developing a lot of new things. There will be new stuff coming in the near future both in the product details as well as the whole product range, when we triple the facilities used for manufacturing saunas.”
“We see an enormous amount of potential in saunas. We can take advantage of our 20 years of expertise in the wellness sector in the manufacturing, sales and marketing of the products. Saunas are a natural choice as a new field for a Finnish hot tub manufacturer,” Taina says.
The sauna sparks global interest
“Our saunas have been received extremely well in Central Europe, especially in Germany. The product looks different, which appeals to the customers who aren’t looking for the most traditional solution. Our fast delivery times have impressed our customers, and this will be one of our selling points in the coming summer,” Taina says.
Konsta is responsible for the sale of saunas in Finland; his job description also includes coming up with ideas for sales material and developing the material.
“I work closely together with both the manufacturing of saunas as well as the export sales team. This also gives me the best overall picture of the process. I have now been working for Kirami for a year, and the enthusiasm for developing different kinds of bath products in particular has grown.”
“Kirami’s advantage is its excellent and well-functioning reseller network, which has made it possible for us to increase the sales of hot tubs. In the future, saunas will also be available for purchase comprehensively through our resellers.”
