Q: What size is the hose connection in the tub’s outlet valve?

A hose with an internal diameter of 38 millimetres fits the outlet valve of the tub. A hose in this size is available in our accessory selection in a coil of 10 metres.

Q: Can I change the location of the outlet valve?

The location of the outlet valve can be changed with a middle outlet set installed between the heater and the tub. The set is sold separately. With this accessory, the heater is installed further away from the tub, and the branch installed into the extension allows you to empty the tub from the heater side.

Q: What should I do if the outlet valve is frozen?

You should try to thaw the frozen valve by pouring warm water on it. Slowly, the valve will regain its function. Do not attempt to open a frozen valve by force without thawing it first.

Q: What should I do if a new hot tub is leaking?

A: That depends on where the leak is located. Check the heater connection hoses to make sure that there are no wrinkles in the rubber hose inside the clamp and that there is enough overlap with the inner pipe, and tighten the clamps.

In the outlets and other parts where threads need to be sealed with thread seal tape, make sure that there is enough tape to form a tight seal and that the threads are not tightened all the way. 15–20 even layers of tape on the thread is usually a suitable amount.
